Young James T. Kirk Smythe has been raised his whole life to be a Space Explorer, just like the TV show hero he was named after. However, almost right before he was able to enter the Space Program it was shut down because there was nothing left in Space to explore. Jim was crushed until his dad learned of NASA'S newest program, CyberSpace! Now Jim, newly graduated from High Schooling at the National U.C.E. CyberSpace School is headed to the moon where he will be the first to captain a ship into CyberSpace. It is a dream come true for young Jim.
Because of the Space Peace Act of 8000, Jim has to choice one person of each Nationality to be part of his crew. The first member is easy, his Chinese best friend Yuan. However, the other choices are much harder, especially when Jim meats German medic Rory who is the highest in his field, and who despises the ground Jim walks on. But this soon turns out to be the least of Jim's problems.
Someone is trying to sabotage the CyberSpace Program and insure Jim never flies his ship into the universes' biggest computer. It is up to Jim and his new crew to stop them, even if it means they will have to work together.
