The world as you know it is different. Each country on Earth has taken a planet. America has Earth and the States left have taken a country. The Earth is now called the United Countries of Earth. The following is where each country is now, and where each state is. Some of the countries share a planet.

Asia has one planet, though China had it first.
The Middle East and Africa split Neptune in two, though sometimes the Middle East doesn't get along.
Scots and Irish found they had a mutual dislike of the Brits so share Uranus.
Australia wanted to remain wild and independent so they move about from ring to ring. All except for Saturn's because the French don't like sharing.
